When To Schedule Your Child’s First Visit?
We, along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), recommend that children have their very first dental visit when their first tooth erupts, or no later than their first birthday. These simple checkups are just to make sure that your child is growing and developing properly and to help them get used to being in the dental office. If your child does happen to need treatment beyond a simple checkup, we will discuss all options with you and find exactly the right solution.
If your child is a little older, don’t worry! Our pediatric dentist and team are here for you. We understand that bringing your child to the dentist – whether for their first every appointment or simply the first visit with a new dentist – can be stressful and anxiety-inducing for both you and them.
